I was honestly skeptical at first because his quote was lower than everyone else's and you know what they say... but wow was I wrong. He explained that he keeps overhead low by not having a big crew. The work on our deck was impeccable. My wife, who is VERY particular about these things, couldn't find a single thing to complain about. That's saying something!

I really wanted to give this more stars because he seemed like a nice guy and I know he's trying to build his business. But I have to be honest - the work was just OK. The fence he built is functional and looks fine from a distance, but up close you can see where some boards don't quite line up. For the price I paid, I expected better attention to detail. Might give him another shot on something smaller.

I've been burned by contractors before - one guy literally ghosted me mid-project. So I was nervous hiring someone new. But from the first phone call I could tell this was different. OK so the work itself was excellent - our new ceiling fan looks great and works perfectly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is purely the scheduling situation. We originally set up for Tuesday, then it became Thursday, then Saturday morning turned into Saturday afternoon. I get that things happen but a heads up would have been nice. That said, I'd still use him again because the actual work was top notch.
Finally! Someone good in this area. Saving this.
